Our Goal:
Is that The Quiet Place be self-sustaining,
so that all seeking peace and tranquility, can come,
and experience a spiritual reawakening in nature.
In order to attain this goal,
it is suggested that guests using the cabin facilities
donate a minimum of $50.00 per person, per night.
These donations will be used
to help defray the costs of maintaining the cabin,
grounds, and pathways along the waterfalls.

it sings-out, cascading over one waterfall after another,
before uniting with the Toe River
and completing its journey.

Not far from the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway,
there is a mountain stream in search of an ancient riverbed.
The stream widens and narrows as it cuts its way
through rocky hillsides to reach the destination.
